I have started to research for next year's final project with a trip to Hampton Court and pressing some flowers from my garden. 

Invisible Structures

For the final project of year two we were given the task of visualising physics, which resulted in an end of year show http://www.invisiblestructures.net/. I choose to focus on the way light reacts in and on water, and created a quilt out of a series of diagrams and visual representations. I explored phenomena such as reflection, scattering, glitter, refraction, caustic reflections and caustic projections. Illustrating the invisible network of light rays which create the dazzling glints of sunlight on the sea; the bright patterns created on the floor of a swimming pool and reflected on the surfaces around it, and also the variations of light and shade which enhances the pattern of waves on the water.
