These are examples of my illustrations of news stories over the Christmas/New Year period. I struggled quite a bit to find a good story, a good way to portray it, the right materials and getting it done within the half an hour time limit. Still I’m pleased that I was pushed out of my comfort zone. I’ve realised I’m not so afraid of using colour in my illustrations and I’ve rediscovered my love for Quink Ink. I love the colour and the variations you can get with it.
