Zelda Fitzgerald starts in the shadow of her husband, his possession ( a ballerina in a jewellery box).
She then stepped out of his shadow in a desperate need to find her own talent.
She became obsessed with ballet, dancing constantly all day and then collapsing from exhaustion at night.
Her mental health deteriorated and she began to suffer from hallucinations, for example flowers in the market talking to her.
